THE HUMAN FOOTPRINT
The ecological footprint is a measure of human demand on the Earth's ecosystems. The more a person uses gas in cars, electricity, hair products or anything of the sort it leaves a mark on the environment. Everyone has an ecological footprint but they may vary, some people have a big impact on the environment and some people have a very tiny impact on the environment.
There are many ways for people to make a smaller footprint in the environment and the community is starting to adapt by making electric cars and more ways to decrease the amount of waste we put in the ecosystem. Another way we can decrease are footprint is by using less harmful things even if not by much, altogether it will make a big impact on the environment. You can use half the hairspray you use or even run your car less than you used to.
One of the effects is global warming and the greenhouse effect. This is when a shield forms in the atmosphere that is made by all the waste and it keeps all the heat in the Earth and causes the Earth to heat up, and this can cause melting snow in the arctic, floods and many more bad affects. We can all work together and make the world a better place.
