FootPrint

When I researched my footprint I found some really cool results. it said that my current consumption requires an area of productive land equivalent to 6.6 Canadian football fields. The average for Calgary is 8.6 Canadian football fields and the average for Canadians is 5.8 Canadian football fields. It also says for me that my ecological footprint is 5.4 global hectares.

What I'm going to do to lower my consumption is use energy efficient light bulbs and turn down my thermostat when not occupied at night. I'm also going to use public transit, carpool, and start walking and riding my bike more. I'm also gonna avoid idling.
