Child poverty and hunger

Child Poverty and Hunger

Lives of children are being affected everyday because of poverty or lack of food, its hard thinking about these things and seeing these happening in other countries.Even though this affects millions of people all around the world I always wondered how a child, a small speck in this world could survive each day thinking about how their lives could be better. What worries me the most is that nearly one in five children under the age of five in this developing world is underweight. As a teen I think about how my life was a kid,I was always a happy kid, growing up. I never experienced starvation or having to beg for food. Even growing up in a poor country I noticed most of the kids there had to do illegal things just for food or just to earn some money. I grew up in the Philippines. I know that Philippines is not one of the developing countries but I know a lot people need a lot of help. Two thirds of the worlds hungry live only in 7 countries:Bangladesh,China,The Democratic Republic of the Congo,Ethiopia,India, Indonesia and Pakistan.

  4. I like how you mentioned a country that is in need of alot of help, even though Africa is always used to describe a country in poverty, they deserve as much equal help as the other countries.
