I feel that the news should not leave out any important information because we have a right to know about what happens in our world no matter how bad. People think that when they turn on the t.v everything they see is true but in reality it is not. News stations think that information that they release could harm the community and affect their image so they decide to leave out certain (sometime important) details are left out.
In my opinion news stations that release the whole information about a topic are better than news stations that don't. We watch the news to be informed and to help us make important decisions but when we don't get the whole story we cant have a completely honest opinion. Just think , we elect our leaders who will run our country and we want to know all about them to make a right decision.
I do see the other half of this story though. People do over exaggerated things that really are not that bad so news station try to help stop some small problems. Yes it will stop people from freaking out but without all the data we will be in the dark for big topics in our world.
I disagree because if they tell us everything about the story our news will be very gruesome. One time when I was in Mexico I saw a newspaper that was all bloody and had chopped up body's, I wouldn't want my sister or any young family members to see that everyday.

Deletei think they should only show the picture that is not scary for the young members and more information for the citizens. plus, the citizen mostly cared about the information, not the picture though.
DeleteI agree with Hotdude7 because its not really appropriate to show anything really graphic in a newspaper anyways. This can lead to kids being exposed to stuff they are not supposed to see such as blood, gore, dead bodies, ETC. I wouldn't want my kids seeing or hearing stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteMr Asap flocko there are many ways you can keep your child from seeing these things on the news. You could take out the page in the paper or change the channel they are watching. I know for a fact that kids do not like to read let alone read the news paper. Also there many more interesting t.v shows than the news.
