Food isn't the limit! We waste things such as paper and other tree products such as wood (which takes 17 trees to make one package that you buy for your printer), water, and many other things. We are taking advantage of our resources and need to stop. If we keep consuming so much, and then wasting it, our children and grandchildren will live to see a day that has very limited food, water and natural resources. My current footprint is less than that of the average person in Calgary or Edmonton, but there is still lots I can do to improve my ecological footprint, and you can to! Some examples of the ways that I can reduce my footprint is by carpooling and purchasing goods that are made locally to reduce their transportation footprint.
