Animals are used for testing commonly by universities, pharmaceutical companies, and medical schools. Some animals are bred for testing and some are captured from the wild.
The pro’s of animal testing are: It helps ensure safety in drugs, Human harm is reduced and many medicines/ drugs would not have been created today without animal testing. The con’s of animal testing: Animals are in pain or distress by animal testing, housing, feeding and treating the animals can be very expensive, I truly believe that animals should have as much right as humans, we are both living things and animals and humans shouldn’t have to go through testing, and animals have a different body than humans so is animal testing really accurate on a human.
Each person has a different perspective on animal testing. Can anyone really say that it is a good or bad thing when everyone see's it differently?

I agree with testing medications on animals. If you don't test it on them then who are you going to test it on? If you test the drug on humans that is violating human rights in many county's. So the solution is that you have to test it on animals because you have nothing else to test if the medications are safe.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, we shouldn't be testing on animal with the technology we have today and we should be taking advantage of that and test on something else. Its not right to be testing on animals. People think that just cause they are different they can test on them. I read somewhere they test on some mammals too, If they do that, they might as well be testing on us. Good post though.
ReplyDeleteThanks, ya I really think that with the technology we have humans don't need to test on animals, they are just killing if not torturing animals for no reason anymore. Before we didn't have the technology, so I guess that was the only way to test medication but now it shouldn't be allowed.
DeleteI agree that animal testing is a cruel thing but if we don't test our medicines/drugs on animal then who will we test it on to make sure its safe for us to use?
