Is Our Water Safe

Manhica Water - Cans Filling sm.JPGYes, our water is clean but some places around the world people can not trust the water they are drinking. Water and sanitation is important to me because I think everyone should have access to clean water. According to the UN 783 million people lack access to clean water. Fortunately
everyday we have the privilege of clean water. I`m sure lots of people would love that water. Clean water prevents many water-borne diseases such as cholera, dysentery and many more potentially fatal conditions. 1 in every 5 deaths are related to unclean water.

Can you imagine walking miles a day to find water that your not even allowed to drink. Women often girls must fetch the water which increases the risk of encountering danger. I believe that who ever went to fetch the water should get some of it.

Thewaterproject.org is helping by bringing water to Africa. If you click the word link you can learn more about what they are doing to help. We can do small things everyday to help like turning off the tap and not wasting water. We can also donate to thewaterproject.org. If we all do a little no one has to do a lot.

Where did I get the information?? ---> www.thp.org/learn_more/issues/water_sanitation

  1. I think what you posted was very interesting and gave lots of details but you didn't explain HOW we can help keep our water clean. How can we?

    1. Well we can`t do much but I was saying how we can donate to thewaterproject.org they help bring safe clean water to Africa. To keep our water clean we can stop polluting the water with garbage and things.
